Behind the Words

Growing up, like most young lads, my dream was to become a professional footballer. I was fortunate to have played at a decent level; I was at Cambridge United for a number of years and also had trials with Derby County.

However, I soon realised professional football wasn't going to be an achievable target. So what is the next best thing? Sitting in a football ground and writing about it instead!

I'm currently a third year student at the University of Lincoln, studying BA (Hons) Sports Journalism. After graduating this year I will be completing a Master's course at the University in Media and Communications.

My ambition is to work in the media department of a professional football club, and you can follow my progress through my online portfolio!
